Four hand-crafted cedar bluebird houses are offered. Each has a 1 1/2 inch entrance hole. The overall outer dimensions are: height - 13 inches, width - 5 1/2 inches, and depth - 7 1/2 inches. The interior dimensions are: height - 10 1/2 inches, width - 4 1/4 inches, and depth - 4 3/4 inches.

Predator guards have been installed on these houses to enhance the security and protection for the birds. The front panel is designed to flip up easily, allowing for quick and convenient access to the interior for cleaning and maintenance. This is achieved by simply backing out a screw located at the bottom of the panel.

The inside of the front panel features strategically placed slots to facilitate the easy exit of the birds. Additionally, half-moon shaped slots have been incorporated at the top of each side panel to promote improved ventilation.

To further enhance the ventilation and address any unexpected moisture, drainage holes have been drilled at each corner of the bottom panel.

These bluebird houses have been constructed using a combination of gluing and finished nailing techniques for optimal durability and strength. A mounting screw and washer are provided with each house to facilitate secure installation.

I have carefully selected the rough-sawn, weather-resistant western red cedar used in the construction of these houses. This type of cedar is renowned for its exceptional natural resistance to the elements, ensuring the long-term protection and well-being of the bluebirds that take up residence.

The color of the western red cedar can vary from light to dark shades. I have made every effort to match the colors of the cedar used for each house, resulting in a highly consistent appearance.
